Glenelg (A Palindrome)

Glenelg (A Palindrome)

We went to Glenelg, 30 minutes off the city, one night to meet some buddies.  It has become a popular tourist destination due to its beach and many attractions, home to several hotels and dozens of restaurants.

We met with a high school friend, Dogan, and Crystal, who happens to be an orgmate in college.

We had dinner at this organic pizza restaurant and had cider for drinks.

Dogan and I talked about how our Philippine Peso was miniscule to the Australian dollar.  We felt so poor in Australia! Hahaha!  Don kept talking about the quality of life and the opportunities that this country has for everyone.  We also talked about the dignity of labor where skilled laborers were respected as much as professionals.

I had a hashtag on Twitter, #malayopaangpinas.  I guess, we need to work harder to attain a modern society and more developed country for more equity and opportunities for our fellow Filipinos.
